Voiceover Works

Marjorie Ocho Kouns’ voice is liquid gold and sets the Gold Standard in making products and services sound believable. She also provides character voices on Dora the Explorer in addition to being a soundalike for Ann Coulter and Sarah Palin.

For over twelve years she has voiced countless radio and television commercials, as well as telephony (on-hold messaging) work.

Her clients include: Spokenlayer.com, Spanish TIME for Kids, TIME, Forbes, Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum, Ozy.com, Centerpoint Energy, MiamiBeach411.com, Dun & Bradstreet, Children’s Hospital Boston, VOG/Documentary narration – Holocaust project and St. Luke’s Campus Ministries Outreach and Fleischer Cartoons. She is also the live announcer for the Pratt Institute’s Commencements at both Radio City Music Hall and Madison Square Garden Theatre, Radio Ink Hispanic Radio Conference Awards – Medallas de Cortez, Cinco de Mayo Festivals, MarketAmerica Shop.com’s national and international conferences, and the renowned New York City Marathon.

Through studying flute for ten years, Marjorie found at a young age that her ear for musical tonality helped her hear similar tones in the languages she learned to speak. She is fluent in Spanish, and also speaks Mandarin, French, Italian, and a little Greek with what she calls “an American Tourist dialect.”

She is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA, Book Pals (SAG-AFTRA Foundation), Women in Film and Television Atlanta, New York Women in Film and Television, Louisiana Film and Entertainment Association (LFEA), and New Orleans Film Society.

Marjorie works as a voiceover coach and presents webinars in her signature script analysis and audition technique. She also freelances with many different talent agencies.
